In October 2024, we had a ton of wild apples that were harvested and picked from a private land in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. I immediately thought of making apple preserves.
We ended up having way more than we could consume all winter - well, we can share them with friends then!
For the first batch of jars, I made a quick German text version of the labels in black and white.
The purpose of the labels was to give enough info needed: ingredients and when it was made. And, something that could bring smile on our friends' faces when they receive them.
Afterwards, I worked on the labels again and changed them with English text & added colours.
