(Amé) Binnarae Kim is a narrative illustrator and comic artist based in Berlin, known for her storytelling and obsession over croissants and cats.
She uses a mix of digital and analogue media e.g. watercolours, coloured pencils and Procreate/Adobe Photoshop.
Through her art, Binnarae likes to capture the joy of everyday moments, creating stories that resonate with anyone who appreciates the magic found in the simple things.
She likes to play with words, make short comics, and enjoys bringing wee chuckles into dire situations.
When she is not making art, Binnarae works as a content creator and social media manager at the comic festival ComicInvasion Berlin and other small brands.
She curates monthly window exhibitions at the oldest comic library in Berlin, Renate Comics, shining light on big and small local comic artists.
