Old Hallowmas Eve(more known as St Martin‘s Day in Germany)
It’s the unofficial second Halloween! Children go out with parents on the street with paper lanterns(Martinsfeuer) in their hands, singing songs to celebrate the birthday of Saint Martin.
Every year this time around, I would see kids with lanterns and smiles on my evening walks, and I always wanted to make an illustration to mark this lovely tradition.
