Wonderful Mary Ocher asked me if I could draw a few pages for her upcoming comic book featuring some of her most hilarious, adventurous, unbelievable stories from her tour in the U.S., and it was one of my first comic projects I worked with a client in Germany.
Since the pages would be in monochrome, I focused on playing with shapes, fluid panelling and typography to bring the absurdity of the story I was given.
The comic was finished in 2018, the book finally released in its physical form in late 2020.
